1 листопада 2023 р. у групі СО(І)-31 відбувся круглий стіл на тему “Joint Work on a Lesson/Project: Cooperation, Collaboration and Team-teaching. (Worksheets to promote Ukraine – The Precarpathian region)” з методики навчання англійської мови (спеціальність “Середня освіта (Інформатика)”, доц. Наталія Магас.
Метод проектів має на меті всебічне та систематичне дослідження проблеми й розробку конкретного кінцевого продукту; передбачає отримання практичного результату, а не тільки пошук певної інформації. Проект передусім є результатом колективних зусиль виконавців, тому на завершальному етапі діяльності передбачає рефлексію спільної роботи, аналіз її повноти, глибини, інформаційного забезпечення, творчого внеску кожного учасника.
Таким чином, студенти вивчали один з методів викладання іноземної мови, а також на практиці розробляли проекти на прикладі популяризації нашого регіону. Одним із завдань було створити легенду рідного краю англійською мовою (або ж використати існуючу) та представити для обговорення у групі. За задумом легенда допоможе у рекламі туризму свого регіону.
Варто зазначити, що результатом спільного проекту було обговорення та оцінка роботи студентів, виявлення недоліків діяльності та обговорення шляхів їх подолання.
