The Department of Foreign Languages of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University actively participated in the roundtable discussion “Prospects and Innovative Approaches to the Integration of Modern Technologies and Artificial Intelligence in Foreign Language Teaching”, initiated by the Department of Foreign Languages and Military Translation of the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Ground Forces Academy.
The event brought together educators and researchers from leading higher education institutions across Ukraine to discuss the challenges and opportunities posed by the rapid advancement of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in the field of language education.
As part of the roundtable, Associate Professor Nataliia Mahas presented her paper titled “ChatGPT as a Creator-Assistant of Multiple Tests on General English.” Her presentation focused on the practical application of artificial intelligence as a tool for developing testing materials and supporting teachers in the English language teaching process.
The discussion sparked considerable interest and confirmed the growing relevance of integrating innovations into language education, especially in the context of adapting to the evolving realities of digital learning.
