Voices of War and Hope

Associate Professor of Foreign Languages Oksana Tytun has contributed to the publication of a poetry collection titled “Voices of War and Hope.” The collection includes 50 poems in English by 25 poets from various corners of Ukraine and Lithuania.

These are the voices of hope from professional writers and amateurs, a child and a pensioner, a mother and a fallen warrior-defender, a living warrior… Each of them tells their own story of pain, longing, anxiety, despair, and love. This collection represents a unique poetic truth, eyewitness testimonies, an emanation of feelings, a transparent tear that transforms into steel and strength, and fills with faith and hope.
