Scientific interests: Translation Studies, Technical Translation, Ukrainian Emigration Literature in the English and German languages, teaching English for Professional Purposes to Non-linguistic University Students.

Educational background:

From 2002 to 2007, studied at the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, specializing in Translation, and obtained qualifications as a translator and an English language teacher.

Since 2013, has been researching the life and work of the Ukrainian diaspora in the USA and Germany.

In 2021, completed the postgraduate studies (on-the-job), defended the dissertation, and obtained the academic degree of the Candidate of Philological Sciences; is the author of approximately twenty scientific works and a scientific literary-artistic publication for philology students.

Married, raising a son and two daughters.

Employment:

From December 2004 to December 2007, worked as an English translator for a joint project between the UNICEF Children’s Fund and RCCH (Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital).

From September 2007 to September 2021, worked as an English translator in the Department of International Relations at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.

From 2021 to the present, has been working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Foreign Languages.

Since September 2023, has also been working in the Women’s Space “Free” of the Charity Organization “Butterfly” (initiative implemented by UNFPA, the UN Population Fund, with the support of the governments of Great Britain, Canada, Denmark, and the USAID Humanitarian Assistance Bureau); is also a participant in the international ECHO project “Autism and Behavioral Disorders in Children and Adolescents” (USA-Ukraine); is a member of the All-Ukrainian Association of Ukrainian Germanists.

Participant of the ECHO® Project (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) in Ukraine, which began its work in November 2020. The aim of the project is to improve patient care in order to enhance the competence of specialists in the field of child and adolescent mental health. This collaboration is focused on forming a Ukrainian-American team within the framework of the ECHO® Project, creating a professional development program for practitioners working with autism spectrum disorders and behavioral disorders at the university.
