Oksana  Tytun, Associate Professor at the Department of Foreign Languages, has co-authored the collective English-language monograph titled “The Space of Inclusive Education: Voices from Ukraine and Beyond,” published by ‘BRILL‘, the Netherlands. The monograph was edited by Prof. Olena Budnyk and  Serhiy Sydoriv, Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. Known as the breadbasket of Europe, Ukraine, presently being in the center of international concerns and hopes, shows new dimensions of dignity and determination for which it may be called the school of the world. This collection of texts on inclusion of people with special educational needs from international and Ukrainian scholars was mostly written long before the war in Ukraine, which is the largest war in Europe since WWII. This volume is the first book for the English reading public on Ukraine’s view on inclusive education. It is always useful to start from the backgrounds and witness the future development.  This book is intended for scholars, professors, related professionals and graduate students in the fields of theory of education, inclusive and special education, teacher training, social work. It is also highly relevant for parents of children with special needs and anyone interested in the topic of inclusion.
